Could a stomach balloon ease breathing for obese asthma patients?

NCT ID NCT05364957

Summary

This study is testing if placing a temporary balloon in the stomach, combined with diet and exercise, helps obese adults with uncontrolled asthma breathe better. Researchers will compare this approach to diet and exercise alone. The main goal is to see if more people using the balloon report improved asthma control after one year.
