NCT ID NCT05992688

Summary

This study aims to see if replacing sugary drinks with stevia-sweetened beverages helps children aged 8-12 control their weight and improve metabolic health. About 150 children will be randomly assigned to drink either a sugary beverage, a stevia beverage, or flavored water for 8-14 weeks. Researchers will measure changes in body weight, body fat, insulin sensitivity, cholesterol, and blood pressure to compare the effects.
