NCT ID NCT07358312

First seen Jan 22, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 15 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a steroid called dexamethasone can help reduce brain swelling in people who have had a traumatic brain injury. Researchers will follow 280 adults aged 18 to 70 who already receive this treatment as part of their care, and compare them to similar patients who do not get the drug. The main goal is to see if the steroid improves recovery one month after the injury.
