First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study tests two methods to fix stents that haven't opened fully in heart arteries, a common cause of re-narrowing. About 80 adults with this problem will get either a special balloon or a shockwave device to expand the stent. The goal is to see which approach works better and safer to keep arteries open.
