First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated Jun 17, 2026 · Updated 31 times

Summary

This study tests two methods for fixing heart stents that haven't opened fully, which can cause blockages to return. About 80 people with narrowed stents will get either a special balloon or a shockwave device. The goal is to see which approach opens the stent better and improves long-term blood flow.
