First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 29 times
Summary
This study tests whether a single injection of donor stem cells into the spinal disc can reduce pain and improve function in people with chronic low back pain from degenerative disc disease. About 113 adults aged 18–60 who have not responded to standard treatments will receive either the stem cells or a sham injection. The main goal is to see if the treatment provides meaningful pain relief and better mobility after 12 months.
