Summary

This study tests whether adding steroids and a powerful antibiotic combination to standard care can help more people with HIV survive sepsis, a life-threatening infection. The trial will enroll 344 adults in Africa who have sepsis that is not getting better. The goal is to find a treatment that works against tuberculosis and drug-resistant bacteria, which are common in this region.
