Summary
This study looks at a type of bacteria called Staphylococcus pettenkoferi, often found in foot wounds of people with diabetes. Researchers want to find out if this bacteria can cause serious infections. They will analyze the DNA of 230 bacterial samples to see how different strains behave and whether some are more harmful.
