New therapy aims to ease PTSD in first responders with brain injuries

Summary

This study tests a talking therapy called STAIR-NT, adapted for first responders (like police or firefighters) who have both PTSD and a past traumatic brain injury. About 80 participants will be randomly assigned to receive the therapy or not. The goal is to see if it reduces PTSD and anxiety symptoms.
