Spiritual support may ease cancer journey for black patients

Summary
This pilot study tests whether adding spiritual care to regular cancer care improves spiritual well-being and readiness to make future medical plans in Black patients with advanced cancer. About 64 participants will receive spiritual care interventions in outpatient settings. The goal is to see if this approach is practical for a larger study.
