NCT ID NCT05789758
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 34 times
Summary
This study collects health information from pregnant women with spinal muscular atrophy (SMA) who have taken the drug Spinraza (nusinersen). Researchers want to learn about pregnancy outcomes and baby health, since little is known about the drug's effects during pregnancy. About 20 participants from SMA registries in the US, UK, and Europe will be followed through pregnancy and for up to 2 years after birth. This is an observational study, meaning no changes are made to participants' medical care.
