Summary

This completed pilot study looked at whether a program called STEPPT can help reduce differences in physical therapy referrals and attendance between Hispanic and Non-Hispanic White patients with back or neck pain. About 144 adults from a community health clinic took part. Researchers checked if the program was easy to use and if it helped more Hispanic patients get and follow through with physical therapy.
