Summary
This pilot study tested a program called STEPPT to see if it could reduce differences in how often Hispanic and non-Hispanic White patients with back or neck pain are referred to and attend physical therapy. 144 adults from a community health clinic took part. Researchers measured how well the program worked and gathered feedback to improve it for a larger future study.
