Spinal implant offers hope for untreatable chronic pain

Summary

This study is observing how well a new type of spinal cord stimulator works for people with long-term, hard-to-treat pain. The device, called evoke®, is already approved and being used in real-world patients. Researchers are tracking 25 adults with severe chronic pain to see how much their pain levels improve after getting the implant.
