First seen Feb 02, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This study looked at whether a special back brace (Chêneau orthosis) can improve spine and leg alignment in teens with scoliosis. Thirty adolescents aged 10-18 with mild to moderate curves wore the brace at least 18 hours a day. Researchers measured changes in spine and leg angles after 3 and 6 months using low-dose X-rays and other tests.
