VA researchers hunt for hidden nerve pathways in paralyzed veterans

NCT ID NCT07222046

Summary

This VA study aims to understand what nerve connections remain in veterans with chronic spinal cord injuries. Researchers will use surveys, MRI scans, and non-invasive spinal stimulation to measure these connections and see how they relate to potential movement recovery. The goal is to gather information that could help design better future treatments to improve function and quality of life.
