New training aims to give nurses a voice in patient safety
NCT ID NCT06711484
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tested a two-day training program designed to help newly graduated nurses speak up about patient safety concerns. 76 nurses from a hospital in Ankara, Turkey, were split into two groups: one received the training, the other did not. Researchers measured changes in communication skills, attitudes toward medical errors, and willingness to speak up. The goal is to see if such training can improve safety and reduce mistakes in hospitals.
