First seen Sep 30, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 28 times
Summary
This study aims to create a hands-on training program to teach operating room teams—surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nurses—how to work more comfortably and avoid injuries. Poor posture and stressful setups cause pain in more than half of OR staff, leading to burnout and early retirement. The researchers will work with 28 staff members to design and test a simulation curriculum that puts ergonomic solutions into practice.
