First seen May 22, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026

Summary

This study tested whether adding a personalized exercise program (delivered via a phone app) to standard ergonomic advice could reduce muscle pain in surgeons who operate on the abdomen and pelvis. 83 surgeons took part. The goal was to see if the exercise program was better than ergonomic tips alone for preventing or treating pain.
