NCT ID NCT06561048
First seen Jun 24, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This phase 3 trial tests a new oral drug, soquelitinib, against standard single-agent chemotherapy in 150 adults with relapsed or refractory peripheral T-cell lymphoma. The study aims to see if soquelitinib can delay cancer progression better than current options. Participants are randomly assigned to receive either soquelitinib or a standard drug chosen by their doctor.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
- Active substance
- Soquelitinib (an ITK inhibitor taken as a pill)
- What this could lead to
- If successful, soquelitinib could offer a new, more targeted treatment option for people with certain types of T-cell lymphoma that have not responded to prior therapy.
- What could go wrong
- This is a phase 3 trial, but it is still experimental. The drug may not prove more effective than existing treatments, and side effects are possible. Results may not apply to all lymphoma subtypes.
