Summary
This study tested a solution-focused counseling approach to reduce anxiety in mothers of preterm infants. Forty first-time moms with high anxiety scores were split into two groups: one received eight solution-focused sessions, the other standard care. Results showed that the counseling lowered anxiety and improved problem-solving skills, helping moms feel more confident in caring for their babies.
