Summary
This study tested a solution-focused counseling approach for mothers of preterm infants. Forty mothers participated, with half receiving eight counseling sessions. The sessions helped mothers set goals, identify strengths, and build coping skills. Results showed that the counseling reduced anxiety and improved problem-solving abilities compared to standard care.
