Summary

This study is testing whether injecting sodium thiosulfate directly into painful calcium deposits under the skin can shrink them and ease symptoms. It includes 20 adults with scleroderma, dermatomyositis, or mixed connective tissue disease who have calcium buildup. Participants receive up to 12 weekly injections guided by ultrasound, and changes are measured by X-ray and pain surveys.
