Summary
This study is testing a new way to help prevent HIV among people who inject drugs in Maryland. It trains some participants to become peer educators who encourage their social network to get tested for HIV and use prevention services like PrEP. The goal is to see if this peer-led approach is more effective than general health information at increasing testing and connecting people to care.
