Friends helping friends: new program aims to curb HIV and drug use

Summary
This study is testing a program called LINKED that uses social connections to help people who inject drugs. It aims to increase the number of people starting and sticking with HIV prevention medication (PrEP) and medication for opioid use disorder (MOUD). The trial will involve about 372 people in Los Angeles and compare the LINKED program to a standard support group.
