Can a trusted Friend's story online change minds about vaccines?
NCT ID NCT06417762
Summary
This study is testing a new way to share trustworthy health information online. Researchers are training community health workers in seven high-risk neighborhoods to post personal stories about flu and COVID-19 protection on their social media. The goal is to see if these personal posts from trusted local messengers are more effective than standard information at encouraging people to consider getting recommended immunizations.
