Scientists track soccer Players' blood and fitness to find best Pre-Season training

NCT ID NCT07170930

Summary

This study aims to understand how different amounts of pre-season friendly match play affect soccer players' bodies. Researchers will measure 24 male players' fitness, blood markers for muscle damage and inflammation, and performance at three points during pre-season. Players will be grouped based on how much they actually played in matches to see if more game time leads to different physical and health changes.
