New approach to help HIV patients kick smoking habit

Summary
This study aims to help people living with HIV quit smoking by offering them different nicotine replacement options like e-cigarettes, nicotine pouches, or patches. Researchers want to see which approach works best to help participants stop smoking tobacco cigarettes for at least 7 days. The study includes nearly 1,000 smokers in Switzerland who are already part of an HIV research program.
