Quit smoking as a family: new study tests household approach
NCT ID NCT07267936
First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study looks at whether helping both patients and their household members quit smoking together works better than helping patients alone. About 231 patients who smoke and live with other smokers will get nicotine replacement therapy and support. Researchers will check quit rates after 28 days, 3 months, and 12 months, comparing results to past data from patients who got help without family support.
