Summary
This study aimed to help low-income pregnant women stop smoking and make their homes smoke-free. Smoking during pregnancy raises the risk of cancer and can lead to low birth weight and other health problems for the baby. The program offered support and referrals to services during pregnancy and after birth. The study was ended early, but it focused on connecting women with resources to make healthier choices.
