First seen Apr 03, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study tests two smartphone apps designed to help people quit smoking. One app uses a therapy that focuses on changing behaviors and moods, while the other uses standard quitting tips. About 1,800 adults who smoke at least 5 cigarettes a day and want to quit in the next month will use one of the apps for 30 days. Researchers will check if they stop smoking and confirm it with breath tests.
