New study aims to help HIV patients kick the habit for good

Summary

This study is for people living with HIV who smoke. It tests a program to help them quit smoking in a way that is affordable and easy to use in HIV clinics. About 500 participants will receive different combinations of support, like counseling or nicotine patches, to find the best approach. The goal is to improve their health and reduce the harms of smoking.
