Summary
This study tests a smoking cessation program that combines a smartphone app with support from a psychologist. 429 adult smokers who want to quit will be placed into one of three groups: eight sessions with a psychologist plus the app, four sessions plus the app, or the app alone. The goal is to see which level of support helps people stop smoking the most.
