Summary
This study looked at two approaches to help residents in public housing buildings follow smoke-free policies. One approach encouraged all residents to support the rules, while the other focused on helping smokers reduce or quit smoking. The goal was to lower secondhand smoke exposure for everyone. About 405 people took part, and the study measured changes in smoking habits and cotinine levels in saliva.
