Can your step count help beat cancer? smartwatch study investigates
NCT ID NCT06668402
Summary
This study aims to find out if being more physically active, measured by daily steps, helps patients with rectal cancer respond better to their pre-surgery treatment and have fewer side effects. About 100 patients will wear a smartwatch to track their steps, heart rate, and sleep during their treatment. The goal is to gather information that could help doctors give better advice about exercise during cancer care in the future.
