Video game therapy tested to help stroke survivors regain movement
NCT ID NCT06778525
Summary
This study tested if adding a video game system called SmartPose to standard physical therapy helps people recover arm and hand movement after a stroke. Researchers compared two groups of stroke patients over eight weeks: one group used the games along with therapy, while the other group received therapy alone. The goal was to see if the games improved movement, strength, and daily function more than standard care.
