First seen Jan 26, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This study tested whether playing special rehabilitative games (SmartPose) could help stroke survivors recover arm movement. 34 people who had a stroke were split into two groups: one did standard therapy plus SmartPose games, the other did only standard therapy. Both groups trained for 8 weeks. The researchers measured arm function, sensation, and muscle tightness to see if the games made a difference.
