Your phone as your heart coach: study tests home rehab for veterans
NCT ID NCT02791685
Summary
This study tested whether a home-based rehabilitation program delivered through a smartphone app and regular phone calls could help veterans with heart or lung disease. The goal was to see if this convenient, remote approach could improve patients' fitness, help them manage their condition, and reduce hospital visits, potentially matching the benefits of traditional in-person rehab.
