App and pills team up to fight heavy drinking in veterans

Summary
This study tests whether adding a smartphone app to standard medication helps Veterans with alcohol use disorder drink less heavily. About 330 Veterans will either get medication alone or medication plus the app. The goal is to see if the app makes treatment more effective and easier to access.
