Summary

This study is testing whether a body-focused therapy called SMART can help adults with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). SMART uses movement, touch, and balance exercises to help people feel more connected to their bodies and surroundings. Researchers will enroll 80 adults to receive either 8 sessions of SMART therapy or be placed on a waitlist, then measure changes in their PTSD symptoms and body awareness.
