Smart bandage zaps wounds to speed healing

Summary
This study is testing a new 'smart' bandage that delivers gentle electrical stimulation to help heal chronic, slow-healing wounds. It will involve 16 veterans with wounds related to diabetes or spinal cord injury. Researchers will compare the new bandage to standard wound care to see if it helps wounds close faster.
