Summary

This study tests whether playing gentle sounds at night to enhance deep sleep can slow the progression of Parkinson's disease in 80 people with early-stage Parkinson's or a related sleep disorder (iRBD). Participants wear a headband and headphones for 18 months and undergo tests of movement, memory, brain scans, and spinal fluid. The goal is to see if this non-invasive approach can protect brain function and delay worsening of symptoms.
