NCT ID NCT07731516

First seen Jul 28, 2026 · Last updated Jul 29, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This trial tests whether a six-week personalized behavioral sleep program, called ISleepFAST, can improve sleep and daily functioning in adults who have had a stroke and still struggle with sleep or circadian problems. Forty participants will be randomly assigned to either the sleep program or a general health education program. The study will measure how well the program works, how acceptable it is to participants, and whether it is safe and practical to deliver.

What this could mean

Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.

Active substance
a six-week personalized behavioral sleep program called ISleepFAST
What this could lead to
If successful, this approach could point toward a practical, non-drug treatment for sleep problems after stroke, potentially improving recovery and quality of life.
What could go wrong
This is a small early feasibility trial with only 40 participants, so results may not apply broadly. The intervention requires weekly in-person sessions, which may not suit everyone.
