First seen Apr 02, 2026 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study tested whether teaching women in menopause about good sleep habits (sleep hygiene) could improve their sleep quality and reduce symptoms like hot flashes and mood changes. Seventy women who had not had a period for at least a year took part. They received face-to-face training based on a health promotion model, and their sleep and symptoms were measured before and after. The goal was to see if this simple education could help women feel better during menopause.
