First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This study aims to understand sleep patterns in people with major depressive disorder who have either moderate-to-severe insomnia or mild-to-no insomnia. About 80 participants will wear a headband at home that records brain activity during sleep, and also fill out sleep diaries and questionnaires. The goal is to see how objective brain measurements compare with how people feel about their sleep, which could help improve future treatments.
