First seen May 28, 2026 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 5 times

Summary

This study tests whether a combination of two drugs given as a nasal spray can improve sleep quality and thinking skills in older adults with mild-to-moderate Alzheimer's-related cognitive decline and sleep issues. About 60 participants aged 60 and older will receive either the active spray or a placebo for one month. The main goal is to see if sleep gets better, with follow-ups on thinking abilities for up to three months.
