First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study aims to understand sleep-disordered breathing in people with systemic sclerosis (scleroderma), a chronic autoimmune disease that causes skin and organ hardening. Researchers will use overnight sleep monitoring (polysomnography) to measure breathing pauses in 30 adults with scleroderma. The goal is to find out how common these sleep breathing problems are, since fatigue and poor sleep are often reported but not well studied.
