First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study looks at whether treating sleep problems can help reduce mood and behavior issues like anxiety, agitation, and irritability in people with early Alzheimer's or mild cognitive impairment. Researchers will give 150 adults either a sleep therapy program (CBT-I) or a control activity, then track changes in sleep, brain function, and emotional symptoms. The goal is to understand how sleep and emotion regulation are connected in Alzheimer's, not to cure the disease.
