Could your sleep patterns predict a Crohn's or colitis flare?

NCT ID NCT05835973

Summary

This study aims to find out if changes in sleep quality can serve as an early warning sign for flare-ups in people with Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis. Researchers will monitor 216 patients who are currently in remission, tracking their sleep patterns with wrist-worn devices and questionnaires for one year. The goal is to identify sleep markers that might predict disease flares before they happen, potentially allowing for earlier intervention.
