Can a breathing machine sharpen your mind? new study investigates
NCT ID NCT06312956
Summary
This study aims to understand how a standard sleep apnea treatment (ventilotherapy) affects patients' thinking skills, brain health markers, and overall well-being. Researchers will observe 65 adults with sleep apnea, measuring their memory, attention, mood, and blood markers before and after three weeks of treatment. The goal is to gather evidence on the full range of benefits this common therapy might provide beyond just improving breathing at night.
