Researchers seek better sleep apnea screening for kids with down syndrome

NCT ID NCT03771469

Summary

This study aims to check if standard sleep questionnaires work well for children with Down syndrome. Researchers are enrolling 81 children with Down syndrome, aged 2-17, to see if these paper surveys can accurately screen for obstructive sleep apnea. The goal is to find easier, cheaper ways to spot this common and serious sleep problem in this high-risk group.
