Sleep pill may help people stick with sleep apnea treatment
NCT ID NCT07332442
Summary
This study aims to see if a sleep medication (eszopiclone) can help people with sleep apnea use their CPAP machine more consistently and improve their thinking skills. Researchers will enroll 250 adults newly diagnosed with sleep apnea. They will test if the medication, by helping people sleep more deeply, makes CPAP therapy more effective for brain function and daily use.
